Been playing PES 2010 for XBox 360. While it looks fine, there are more than a few things which could be improved. For example, if you decide to play on the highest difficulty level, your opponents don't get a whole lot better (they
do get better, just not a lot better), and your team gets crippled because they tire faster (that was my impression after playing more than a few matches, anyway, I could be wrong), it takes them forever to pass the ball or to shoot (or do anything when you press any of the non-directional action buttons), as opposed to that minimal lag on lower difficulty levels. And passing is horribly done - it makes no difference where you point the player with the ball, he'll pass where you don't want him to.
Other things I disliked, which are not really gameplay related:
1. Scorer and assist lists you used to see (on PS 2, for example) when you pause the match are gone.
2. You can't see your opponent's formation or current squad if you go to your team management menu (again, as opposed to PS 2).
3. Still no half-time marks for all the players.
4. No comments on certain players' game. There were some in PS 2 - if you were to go to match details (or whatever the option is called) after the match, you'd see comments on how some of the players played the match.
5. As far as I can tell, you can't play World Cup qualifiers (you could on PS 2).
6. No more WEN / PES points, and things to unlock by spending them.
7. No more silly stuff (dog heads, riding ostriches and dinosaurs etc).
8. Skill cards are interesting, but shouldn't be for basic stuff, just more advanced.
I think there are more of these small annoyances, but that's about all I can think of now. On the plus side, though, you can still make hideous (but skilled) players, and I guess that's why I'm still playing the game.
